Atypical: Employee involvement of atypical workers – example of service sector
Atypical forms of work in the service sector have been on the rise due to technological and societal developments. The COVID-19 crisis has brought attention to the uncertainties faced by these workers, such as job insecurity and inadequate income. New legislation is being proposed in European countries, and social partners are providing their opinions. The project aims to identify atypical workers, analyze their legal regulations, and improve the understanding of these work arrangements. It seeks to protect workers’ rights, ensure employee involvement, and raise awareness among stakeholders in EU member states and candidate countries.
